It was a solemn ceremony where we had a mini-marchpast followed by an address by our Principal, Mrs Chew.
After that, we had a round of community singing where we all sang our hearts out!
Everyone was cheering loudly, waving their flags up high.
Once the community singing ended, the Upper Primary students adjourned to the hall for other activities while we proceeded to the field for our Sports Carnival.
There were 5 stations we had to complete, namely the Grasshopper Vertical Jump, Dolphin Dribble, Elephant Throw, Donkey Kick and Cheetah Agility Run. At these stations, we had to push ourselves to the limit by jumping as high as possible, bouncing the ball as many times as possible, throwing as far as possible, kicking footballs as accurately as possible and running through a series of cones as fast as possible.
As the Sports Carnival came to a close, all of us were tired yet immensely happy. we even got to bring home our own national day souvenir.
